Multnomah County’s Department of County Management (DCM) seeks an Assessment & Taxation Technician 2 to maintain records, process deferral programs, review applications, and answer taxpayer inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Oregon statutes.
Work location is onsite at the Multnomah Building in Portland with a schedule Monday–Friday; telework is currently routine, shifting to a hybrid model with three in-office days by July 1, 2027, and eligibility to work in Oregon or Washington.
Pay Range: $29.29 - $36.03 Hourly

Schedule: Monday - Friday; there may be some scheduling flexibility, including start and end times.
Telework Status: At this time, the position is designated as routine telework with plans to transition to a hybrid work schedule that requires three in office days, effective no later than July 01, 2027. This designation of telework may be subject to change at a future time. Currently, all employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations.
