Job summary

Power-Systems-Mfg.,-LLC in Jupiter, FL seeks an Assessment Engineer to provide onsite and remote support for turbine hardware assessments and repairs for PSM and OEM components. You will analyze mechanical and engine data, coordinate with Product Line teams, and propose dispositions for operation and life cycle.

The role requires 5+ years of gas turbine experience, borescope inspection expertise, and strong problem-solving skills. Travel and a safety-minded approach are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with design, manufacture and installation of industrial gas turbine hardware.
  • 3+ years with E/F (or G/H)-Class industrial gas turbine systems and related hardware.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, repair technologies and fabrication techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote assessments for part acceptance and repair requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to analyze hardware condition and provide disposition for operation and lifecycle.
  • Perform and review borescope inspections of GTs in the field or from third parties.
  • Document technical findings and present recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Travel as required (10%–50%) for field assignments and customer sites.
