Job summary

Balanced Body is seeking an organized, detail-oriented assembler in Sacramento, CA to join our Assembly team. You will work with wood, metal and fabric components, using air-powered staple guns, grinders and battery-powered drills to build Pilates equipment.

The role emphasizes safe assembly techniques, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to consistent attendance and production schedules. We offer competitive benefits and a collaborative, environmentally conscious workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience with safe assembly techniques and tooling.
• Experience with woodworking and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to spec for Pilates equipment.
• Operate tools including staple guns, grinders and drills safely.
• Maintain clean work area and meet on-time production goals.
• Assist with supporting production and shipping readiness.

We have an exciting new opening with our Assembly team. Balanced Body is an energetic, environmentally sensitive company that is growing! Balanced Body leads the world in providing Pilates equipment and education. The Assembly team contributes to growing our company and ensures that production and shipping is always on-time for our customers.

Requirements

The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty:

• Working knowledge of safe assembly techniques and tooling;
• Tools include: air powered staple guns, grinders and battery power drills;
• Industrial-level experience preferred but willing to train a motivated individual;
• Skills will include: wood working, sub-assembly and mechanical assembly;
• Good verbal communication skills;
• Able to adapt to changing needs and priorities;
• Able to sit, stand, reach and carry as needed for a full shift (8-hours);
• Must be able to lift, carry up to a maximum of 50 lbs;
• Must be self-motivated and have a positive, solution-seeking attitude;
• Able to commit to a consistent work schedule with good attendance;
• Other duties as assigned.
