Job summary

Liton Lighting is hiring an Assembly Worker -- Full Time in Los Angeles, CA to support production of lighting products through hands-on assembly, modification, rework and inspection. You will follow work instructions and drawings, using a variety of tools to ensure quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while adhering to procedures and supervisor directions. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Assembly line experience
• Lighting fixture experience
• Must be able to read and speak English/Spanish
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Follows verbal instructions, diagram drawings, process specifications, and supervisor directions to accurately complete assigned assembly tasks.
• Assemble electrical components onto light fixtures.
• Uses a variety of tools and equipment to assemble, modify, rework or reassemble lighting fixtures.
• Assures product meets or exceeds company and customer expectations of quality and workmanship.
• Can work at various assembly stations as needed and maintain a clear safe workspace.
• Reads, understands and adheres to appropriate company and department policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance, safe and productive workplace and quality products and customer service.
• Must immediately report any and all unsafe conditions and/or work related injuries/illnesses to the supervisor.
• Performs other duties, as assigned, to maintain efficiency throughout the company.
• Perform basic commands on computer
