Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking an Assembly Line Worker in Harmony, FL. You will read measuring tapes, assemble components, and verify quality against blueprints. You will prepare tasks, gather parts and tools, and follow instructions to ensure precise assembly.

The role runs 7am–finish, Monday–Friday with some Saturdays and overtime. You will help maintain a safe, clean workspace and contribute to team productivity and quality improvements.

Qualifications

  • Reading a tape measure.
  • Proficient with measuring tools and gauges.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Read a measuring tape and ruler to verify parts.
  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by templates or measurements.
  • Assemble components and verify fit.
  • Measure completed components to verify specifications.
  • Resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions and notifying supervisor.
  • Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Keep the work area safe and clean by following rules and procedures.
  • Manage supplies inventory and place orders when needed.
  • Conserve resources by efficient use of equipment and materials.
  • Document actions using production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team goals by delivering related results.

Assembly Line Worker

$16.00/hr

7am - until finish

Over time hours

Monday-Friday and some Saturdays

Description

Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

Duties
  1. Must be able to read a measuring tape and ruler.
  2. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  3. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  4. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  5. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  6. Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  7. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  8. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  9. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  10. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  11. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
