Job summary

Edwards Company in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Team Leader to manage day-to-day production at the Edwards US facility. You will assemble and test modules and drive quality and delivery targets while maintaining a safe workspace.

You will lead training, coordinate with departments, and ensure customer requirements are met. The role calls for 2+ years of manufacturing experience or a related engineering/technical degree, with strong problem solving and teamwork capabilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree in Engineering Technology or Business preferred.
• 2 years manufacturing experience OR 4 years mechanical/operations experience.
• Qualification in a manufacturing discipline is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test modules, cables and dry pumps per daily plan, focusing on quality and output.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Follow assembly and test instructions to meet output quality requirements.
• Lead the training of team members and drive improvements and efficiency.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and supporting departments.
• Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet standards.
• Set clear targets for daily activities and ensure team understands responsibilities.
• Communicate customer needs to the team and meet committed delivery schedules.
• Motivate the team with guidance and encouragement as needed.
• Manage performance cycle, including reviews, improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
