Express Office Lynnwood in Woodinville is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform general production duties on an hourly paid, full-time seasonal basis. You will work Monday through Thursday 6am-4:30pm with possible overtime on Fridays, and you must have your own transportation.

Responsibilities include assembling parts with air tools, operating presses, loading pieces, maintaining tools and work areas, and following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background screening.
• Audio Metric screening within 30 days of start date.
• Steel-toed boots within 2 weeks of assignment start date.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas.
• Ability to listen to others and appropriately act on information provided.

Responsabilités

• Tend machines, including hydraulic presses, for fitting or fastening operations.
• Operate hand, power and air tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, calipers, grinders, drills).
• Load/unload mild steel work pieces from bins and carts.
• Operate material handling equipment (hoists, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• Follow all safety rules, policies and safe work practices.
• Keep the area neat and organized.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain machines, tools, parts and work area.
• Report damage, wear, tear and other defects.
• Keep the area stocked with supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position: Assembly Technician
Type:Full-Time, Seasonal
Location: WoodinvillePay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm, possibility of mandatory overtime on Fridays
Please note that this position is NOT accessible by bus - you will need your own transportation

Job Details: The Assembly Technician is responsible for performing general production duties ranging from repetitive line/ assembly operations, checking for quality of parts, boxing the finished product, training other employees, and active participation in meetings. All tasks must be performed under an established time frame. This position reports to an operations supervisor and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Assembly Technician employees can rotate to other production areas of the business as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Place parts in specified relationships to each other. Bolt, clip, screw, tap, press or otherwise fasten parts together using supported portable air tools (tool balancers), power and hand tools.
• Tend machines, such as dual palm initiated, hydraulic presses to perform fitting or fastening operations on assembly lines.
• Operate various portable hand, power and air tools, i.e., screw drivers, wrenches, sockets, calipers, clamping devices, grinders, hand drills, belt sanders.
• Load/unload mild steel work pieces and parts from bins and carts.
• Operate material handling equipment including ergonomic lifting devices, mechanical hoists, air lifts, pallet jacks, utility carts, and hand trucks.
• Follow all safety rules, policies and safe work practices.
• Keep the area neat and in order.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain machines, tools, parts, stock, equipment and work area (uses petroleum products and general cleaners, i.e., mineral oil, simple green, hydraulic fluid).
• Report damage, wear, tear and other potential defects.
• Keep the area stocked with supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned
