Job summary

Particle Measuring Systems in Niwot, Colorado, is seeking an Assembler II to join the Production team. You will perform mechanical, optical, electrical, and electronic assembly of complex products according to work instructions and quality standards.

This hands-on role supports on-time delivery, works with cross-functional teams, and follows processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Requires a high school diploma and at least six months in manufacturing; benefits and competitive pay

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of related manufacturing experience.
• Able to read and follow written or pictorial work instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, optical, electrical, and electronic components per work instructions.
• Install wiring harnesses following schematics.
• Identify components by RETMA color and numerical coding.
• Solder through-hole components to IPC-610 standards and harnesses to IPC-620 standards.
• Conduct routine material handling and inventory cycle counts.
• Identify and disposition non-conforming material.
• Maintain quality documentation and ensure process control.
• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Suggest process improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety.
