Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a production-focused team member to support assembly of products on the shop floor. You will read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions for assembling panels and systems, and operate using light hand tools to meet production targets.

The role is onsite and emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 40–50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical Certification preferred.
  • 0 years of Manufacturing/Warehouse experience required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Knowledge of tools and measurement understanding preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs.
  • Team & Detail orientated.
  • Shift differential compensation available (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products, including packing where integrated with production lines.
  • Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
  • Carry out regular quality testing as part of the production process.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
