Job summary

Columbia Machine Inc in Vancouver, WA is seeking an Assembly Technician 3A for daily assembly of automated machinery. You will work from blueprints and verbal instructions, handling pneumatic and hydraulic components and fastening with a variety of nuts, bolts and screws.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and meters.
  • Proficient at ECR changes (on-the-job training provided).
  • Ability to read tape measurements within 1/16 inch and level.
  • Identify SAE, Metric, and various fastener types.

Responsibilities

  • Read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to build assemblies.
  • Mount and wire switches and terminal panels per prints.
  • Read level and tape measures with precision.
  • Drill and tap by hand or air as required for assembly.
  • Proficient with power tools and hand tools.
  • Operate at heights on ladders and platforms safely.
  • Support ECR changes and collaborate with team.
