Job summary

Aerotek in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble generators using hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment. Read and interpret blueprints and assembly diagrams to complete mechanical tasks with quality and productivity.

This contract-to-hire role is fully onsite, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Aerotek offers weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and assembly diagrams to accurately complete mechanical assembly tasks.
• Assemble generators using hand and power tools while maintaining quality and productivity standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards, demonstrating reliability and commitment to long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble generators and components per drawings and instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper fit and finish.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets and quality metrics.
