Job summary

AAA, United States, Inc. partners with a Duluth, Minnesota facility to hire experienced Manufacturing / Production Technicians. The role focuses on assembling composite parts for Cirrus general aviation aircraft in a challenging, evolving environment.

Technicians will be trained to install components and assemblies, following drawings, and may work in different departments. Prior aviation experience is not required, with relocation assistance available and long-term program exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and PPE.
• Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift varying weights repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Install aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and composite parts per drawings.
• Assemble and bond components using adhesives, rivets or fasteners.
• Route wires and manage wiring harnesses according to specs.
• Ensure fit, clearance, alignment and functional performance meet design requirements.

Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Duluth, Minnesota that produces composite "fiberglass" parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. We are looking for experienced Manufacturing / Production Technicians who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!

Essential Functions:

• As Production Laborer in Assembly, you will be trained in installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and composite parts.
• You will play an integral role creating and constructing the world's best selling general aviation aircraft, though you do not need any aviation experience to succeed at Cirrus.
• Dependent on the department in which you are placed, you will be responsible for the following as a Production Laborer in Assembly.
• Following engineering drawings and specifications to install, connect, or bond aircraft parts using adhesives, rivets, or threaded fasteners.
• Ensures fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements.
• Preparing and using fixtures to aid in locating, bonding, or drilling aircraft parts.
• Routing wire harnesses in accordance with specifications.
