Job summary

Xyant Technology in Bohemia, NY is seeking an Assembly Technician - Aerospace to join our team onsite. The role focuses on mechanical assembly, quality inspections, and ensuring 100% adherence to procedures for aerospace components.

The candidate will perform QC inspections, read blueprints/drawings, and use hand tools in a fast-paced production environment. BIZJET/ BOEING related work and overtime are possible on the 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints, drawings or schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and work overtime.

Job Requirements:

• 1st Shift Assembly (BIZJET/ BOEING)
• Seeking motivated individuals who are looking to join a fast paced – growing organization to work in the production department doing:
• -Mechanical assembly of raw materials
• -Utilize different hand tools
• -QC Inspections

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma /(GED)
• 1-3 years prior assembly experience (able to use small tools ie torque wrench)
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Must have the ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to stand the duration of an 8 hour shift.
