Job summary

Lloyd Richards Personnel is seeking an Assembly Technician I for day and night shifts in the United States. The role focuses on assembling parts and ensuring readiness for final test, with safety and quality in mind.

Responsibilities include reading P&ID drawings, piping work, and using measuring tools, while adhering to schedules and safety guidelines in a non-temperature-controlled metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to operate forklift and crane.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) drawings and blueprints.
• Cut and thread piping.
• Read a tape measure to within 1/16 of an inch.
• Complete tasks per manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
• Possess knowledge of pipe fittings, valves, and switches.
• Operate a forklift and crane.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
