Job summary

Jobandtalent in Auburn Hills is seeking an Assembly Tech to build components for plastic injection molding machines. You will assemble heaters and nozzle assemblies, perform wiring and soldering, and ensure assemblies meet blueprints and quality standards.

The role requires basic blueprint reading, use of hand tools, and 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience, with a typical shift Monday–Friday and overtime. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on-site in Auburn Hills.

Qualifications

• More than 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions.
• Ability to read measuring gauges such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, hex key wrenches, and torque wrenches.
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude.
• Stable work history with tenure of 1-2 years in past roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building systems for plastic injection molding machines.
• Assemble tubular electric heaters and nozzle assemblies for manifold systems.
• Hone and plug manifolds, perform wiring, and solder heating elements.
• Deburr, die, and tap components using hand and air tools.
• Ensure all assemblies conform to blueprints and quality standards.

Assembly Tech - Auburn Hills

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an Assembly Tech to work with a leading manufacturer of automated production machine systems in Auburn Hills. You will play a key role in building components for plastic injection molding machines, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Overtime is required, with an average of 45-50 hours per week.

Pay Rates

• 23.00 USD hourly

Must-have Requirements for Assembly Tech

• More than 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
