Topre America Corporation in Alabama is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations. You will oversee safety, quality, and productivity, coordinate with other departments, and ensure production schedules are met.

The role emphasizes Lean principles, problem solving, and training Team Leaders and Associates. Overtime is required, and you will identify waste and Kaizen opportunities to improve performance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a safe and productive work environment
• Investigate and countermeasure performance gaps in efficiency, scrap, on-time delivery, PPM and other measurables
• Coordinate with other departments to reduce cost and improve performance
• Ensure inventory is controlled through reporting and scrapping in production workbench
• Prepare accurate and timely performance evaluations for employees
• Guide, counsel, train and develop employees to be effective in their roles
• Study production schedules and estimate manpower requirements to meet the schedule
• Train Team Leaders and Production Associates in Safety, Quality & Productivity
• Investigate and close Safety Incidents with countermeasures
• Investigate and close Quality Incidents with countermeasures
• Engage with production team to drive department performance
• Identify waste or Kaizen opportunities and pursue cost reductions
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate with the team
• Overtime is a requirement for the position

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for providing a safe and productive work environment
• Investigates and countermeasure performance gaps in efficiency, scrap, on-time delivery, PPM and other measurables
• Work in coordination with other departments in effort to reduce cost and improve performance
• Ensure that inventory is controlled properly through reporting and scrapping in production workbench
• Prepare accurate and timely performance evaluation on employees
• Provides employees with guidance, counseling, training, and development so the employee can be effective in their position
• Studies production schedules and estimates manpower requirements to meet the schedule
• Train Team Leaders and Production Associates in all aspects of Safety, Quality & Productivity
• Effectively investigate, countermeasure, and present closure for Safety Incidents
• Effectively investigate, countermeasure, and present closure for Quality Incidents
• Capable of engaging with production team to drive department performance in all areas
• Must be able to understand efficiency and be able to cut cost and identify waste or Kaizen opportunities.
• Must be able to prioritize and work with your team accordingly.
• Overtime is a requirement for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong analysis, problem solving, process and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Highly organized and possess good decision-making skills
