Role Description

The Assembly Specialist is full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Houston area, responsible for assembling and integrating PCB-related components and products. Day-to-day tasks include performing mechanical and electronic assembly using hand tools and power tools, soldering components onto circuit boards, and routing wires and cables according to specifications and schematics. The Assembly Specialist will read and interpret assembly drawings, work orders, and bills of materials to ensure accurate builds, and will follow established production processes and safety procedures. The role also involves conducting in-process checks, identifying defects, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to maintain quality, meet production schedules, and support continuous improvement in assembly operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong soldering skills for PCB and cable assembly work.
• Candidates should possess mechanical assembly skills for building enclosures, harnesses, and box builds.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, crimpers, cutters) used in electronic and mechanical assembly.

• Candidates should possess quality control skills, including visual inspection, basic testing, and adherence to manufacturing standards.
