Crown Innovations in Ontario, California is seeking an Assembly / Rack Fabrication Technician to support fabrication, assembly, and testing of radio communication rack systems. The role involves both mechanical hardware and electronic assembly, working with the team to ensure on-time shipment to customers.
You will read assembly diagrams, perform drilling, soldering, wire harnessing, and test wire assemblies, with lifting up to 75 lbs and moving 300+ lb racks in a production environment.
Crown Innovations is seeking an Assembly / Rack Fabrication Technician to support fabrication, assembly, and testing activities for radio communication rack systems produced at the Ontario facility.
This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and performing testing procedures associated with radio communication racks and supporting subassemblies. The technician will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule for shipment to customers.
The Assembly / Rack Fabrication Technician performs both mechanical hardware assembly and electronic assembly, supports staging and storage activities, and assists with preparing completed rack systems for shipment. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy and conformity with instructions.
This role requires the ability to perform repetitive lifting and movement of equipment, including large rack assemblies.

Work is performed in a production and fabrication environment supporting rack assembly and shipment operations.
Hourly Rate Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (W2)
Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.
