Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking an Assembly Operator II to perform product assembly on complex components and sub-assemblies for servers. You will set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and follow prescribed methods and sequences to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will train coworkers as needed, assist with handling chassis and components, and work in a team-focused environment with close supervision.

Qualifications

  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work on ladders.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and work in a team.

  • Follows methods and sequence of operations for unpacking, prep, installation and assembly.
  • Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines.
  • Provides hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
  • Open and unpack chassis and components used on server assembly.
  • Use small hand tools or power screwdrivers for assembly.

Assembly Operator II
  • Performs product assembly operations on complex components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing unpacking, component preparation, component installation and assembly of units.
  • Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines.
  • Provides hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
  • Open and unpack chassis and components to be used on the server assembly
  • Utilize small hand tools to or power screwdrivers to
  • Install/replace brackets, Install small components and/or labels on servers
  • Assist with recycling materials
  • Any other tasks assigned
