Job summary

ElevaIT is seeking a reliable assembler for a 6-month onsite role in Colonial Heights, VA. You will assemble refrigeration display cases and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, following work orders and production specs. Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred and lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

The position runs on 2nd shift, 3pm-11:30pm, with 100% onsite work. Excellent teamwork and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Assemble refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies.
• Read and interpret work orders and assembly instructions.

• Fasten parts with hardware and meet production standards.
• Move between workstations as needed.
• Collaborate with the assembly team.

Job Summary:
Is seeking reliable and motivated Assemblers to join its manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble refrigeration display cases and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools while following work orders and production specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble refrigeration cases and various sub-assemblies.
• Read and interpret work orders and assembly instructions.
• Identify and install the correct parts and hardware.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read tape measures, rulers, and other measuring instruments.
• Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other hardware.
• Perform quality assembly work while meeting production standards.
• Move between workstations as production needs require.
• Work collaboratively with the assembly team.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
