Job summary

TMEIC Corporation Americas seeks a skilled supervisor to oversee assembly operations in Brookshire, TX, ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining safety and quality. The role focuses on guiding a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring 6S compliance and ERP-enabled workflows.

You will plan schedules, interview candidates, train staff, verify tool calibration, address quality issues, and coordinate with managers to prevent interruptions.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and production processes.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Proven ability to lead teams to achieve business goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with an ERP system.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly operations to meet production goals with safety and quality.
• Plan work schedules and manage employee hours to sustain line continuity.
• Identify factors affecting productivity and notify manager to mitigate delays.
• Interview and evaluate candidates to fill assembly positions.
• Assess skill levels and coordinate training for the team.
• Verify tool calibration requirements per schedules.
• Investigate part discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Provide temporary coverage to maintain production continuity.
