BMZ USA, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Line Worker to assemble and test lithium-ion battery configurations, while keeping a clean, organized work area and ensuring high-quality output for customers.

The role requires recent manufacturing experience, strong communication, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. The position is on-site in Virginia Beach, with potential for overtime as needed.

Position Summary

The Assembly Line Worker produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies while ensuring high-quality output for our customers.

Essential Functions

• Assemble and test various lithium-ion battery configurations
• Maintain clean and organized work area(s)
• Maintain the highest quality of work and ensure the highest quality product is produced
• Offer suggestions of improvement
• Additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Production Supervisor or designated representative

Essential Skills And Experience

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Knowledgeable in equipment maintenance/basic troubleshooting
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required

Working hours are Monday-Friday from 6:00am EST to 2:30pm EST, with occasional overtime and weekend hours.

The noise levels in some manufacturing facilities frequently may exceed the normal dBA. Work conditions may include elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to some mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.

The employee may be required to wear safety glasses and possibly hearing protection, as well as proper grounding equipment to eliminate the chance of electro-static discharge.
