About the Role

As the Assembly Lead, you will play a key role in driving production performance across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets. You’ll lead and support a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, providing clear direction, hands‑on guidance, training, and support to ensure operational excellence.

In this hands‑on leadership role, you’ll work closely with supervisors to coordinate daily operations, manage workflow, and ensure production targets are achieved. You’ll foster a culture of ownership, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained.

You will also act as a frontline liaison for internal teams and customers, ensuring questions, requests, and production issues are communicated clearly and resolved promptly and professionally.

  • Lead and motivate team members in daily production and assembly operations.
  • Provide clear direction, instruction, coaching, and training to team members.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to manage production schedules, priorities, and workflow effectively.
  • Drive achievement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and performance objectives.
  • Support employees by answering questions, providing guidance, and assisting with issue resolution.
  • Maintain and promote strong customer relationships by responding to enquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct employee training, onboarding, and orientation as required.
  • Monitor production activities and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and efficiency.
  • Step in to perform or support production management duties during periods of absence.
  • Carry out additional duties and assignments as required by management.
About You

You are a proactive, motivated, and hands‑on leader with strong experience in manufacturing and assembly operations. You thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments where precision, teamwork, safety, and quality are essential. You take pride in developing and empowering others to succeed and are committed to achieving operational excellence through strong leadership, communication, and organisation.

With a solid foundation in electro‑mechanical assembly, you bring practical experience working with printed circuit boards, cable and harness soldering, and mechanical assembly. You have a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to producing high‑quality work that consistently meets or exceeds expectations.

You understand that great production teams are built through clear communication, effective training, accountability, and continuous improvement. You actively encourage these values within your team and lead by example on the production floor.

You communicate confidently and professionally, manage competing priorities effectively, and remain calm and solutions‑focused under pressure. Most importantly, you are driven to lead by example—promoting safety, quality, teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction in everything you do.

U.S. citizenship is required due to the handling of export‑controlled materials, and the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Benefits and Culture

Our culture is supportive and collaborative. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where we share our ideas and innovation is strongly encouraged. We are looking for someone with genuine passion and a can‑do attitude. Our staff receive 15 days accrued paid time off per year, 10 Federal holidays, an opportunity to join our sponsored health plan, a generous 401k plan with immediate vesting and a matching employer contribution, an Employee Assistance Program, and more.

Additionally, we offer flexible core working hours and we take a personal approach to training and development.
