Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an Assembly Lead at our Radford, VA facility to oversee the Brushless Housed production area. This role reports to Robin Akers and focuses on safety, quality, and productivity in daily manufacturing operations.

You will lead a cell team, prioritize work, monitor audits and training, implement continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with company policies while coordinating shift tasks and communicating production performance.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and able to work well in a team.
  • Ability to present information to managers, customers and peers.

Position Overview

The Main Street location in Radford, Virginia is seeking an Assembly Lead to support the Brushless Housed production area. This role will report directly to Robin Akers.

The Assembly Lead is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations within the assigned production cell, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established processes. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and the ability to effectively direct production activities. The Assembly Lead proactively communicates and addresses safety, quality, and productivity issues, working collaboratively with team members to resolve challenges in a timely manner. Additionally, the Assembly Lead ensures that all cell associates comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, and appropriately escalates concerns when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed and have the ability to work well as a part of a team
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and peers
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with reading prints, reviewing dimensions and reviewing bill of materials
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Prior experience with problem solving tools
Work Type

Onsite: This role follows an Onsite Work Schedule and requires working from your designated Regal Rexnord office on a full-time basis.
