Job summary

GZQSO in Sterling Heights, MI is hiring Assembly Associates for an automotive bumper assembly line. You will stand for long shifts, use basic hand tools, and perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The position is on the 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) with overtime possible based on production needs and a starting pay of $15.50 per hour, increasing to $17.00 after 90 days. PTO and health benefits are offered along with other perks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive bumper systems and related components according to work instructions and production specifications.
• Install bolts, screws, clips, wiring, and other components.
• Operate basic hand tools, drills, and other assembly equipment.
• Inspect completed parts for quality, proper fit, and accuracy.
• Identify and report defects or assembly concerns.
• Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures.
• Maintain required production pace and efficiency.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Work closely with team members, team leaders, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Perform other production or assembly duties as assigned.

Assembly Associate - Automotive Manufacturing

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Pay: ($15.50 hr - goes to $17.00 after 90 days)
