Job summary

Aequor is seeking an Assembly Equipment Technician I to assemble mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems from diagrams and instructions for Inovoject® and related devices. You will help prepare build records and maintain organized documentation.

You will collaborate with engineering to document changes, advance testing of prototypes, and support shipment preparation. HS diploma with 1–2 years experience considered; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1–2 years of relevant experience required.
• Associates degree in Engineering Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems from diagrams and work instructions for Inovoject® and other devices.
• Prepare and update detailed build records and maintain organized filing for records.
• Assist with parts rebuild when necessary.
• Learn techniques for assembling new technologies and prototypes from engineering.
• Document equipment changes and ideas with engineering to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Advance assembly and testing of new technologies and prototypes with engineering.
• Maintain personal tools and shop floor hardware inventory.
• Keep a clean, organized shop floor and identify workflow improvements to reduce build time and costs.
• Collaborate with Quality Control Specialist to address device repairs.
• Assist manufacturing and logistics team in getting devices ready for shipment.

Job Title: Assembly Equipment Technician I

Job Description:

• Work from wiring, electrical, and mechanical diagrams, equipment drawings, and work instructions to organize, construct, and build mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems used on the Inovoject® and other devices during the assembly process.
• Assist with the preparation and update of detailed records to document the build process and organize/maintain a system for filing and updating these records efficiently.
• Assist with parts rebuild when necessary.
• Learn techniques for assembling new technologies and prototypes from engineering.
• Work closely with engineering to document necessary equipment changes and ideas to improve the overall functionality and/or quality of operations between engineering and manufacturing.
• Work closely with engineering to advance assembly and testing of new technologies and prototypes.
• Maintain personal tools and shop floor hardware inventory.
• Maintain an organized, clean shop floor workspace and work with Manager of Manufacturing to identify areas for improvement in workflow and final assembly procedures to reduce build time and/or costs.
• Work closely with Quality Control Specialist to address device repairs.
• Assist manufacturing and logistics team in getting devices ready for shipment.

Experience/EDU requirements:

Technician 1: High School Diploma/GED with 1-2 years of relevant experience required. Associates degree in Engineering Technology preferred.
