Narda-MITEQ in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an electronics/electro-mechanical assembler to perform a range of assembly operations, from hand work to tools and soldering, aligning with blueprint specifications. Candidates should read schematics and travelers and use measurement devices to maintain tight tolerances.
The role requires the ability to work with small parts, possibly under microscope inspection, and may involve security clearances.
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing mechanical assembly, wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
