Job summary

Acme Sample in High Point, NC is seeking an Assembly Associate to join a detail-focused team. The role reports to the Assembly Supervisor or Lead and involves counting, boxing, drilling, and assembling fabric samples.

You will build fabric sample books, apply labels, attach strips and labels, operate laminator and eyelet machines, and inspect finished products against samples. One year manufacturing experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 40 hours per week with potential

Position Summary: Acme Sample is seeking an Assembly Associate. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent attention to detail. The position is located at our facility in High Point, NC and reports directly to the Assembly Supervisor and/or the Assembly Lead.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Count and Box samples accurately to customer specifications
• Drill samples to customer specifications
• Collate sample sets to customer specifications
• Build Fabric Sample books
• Glue identification tags to memo’s
• Attach backing strips to memo’s
• Operate an eyelet machine
• Attach correction labels to existing samples to customer specifications
• Inventory raw materials
• Inspect finished product compared to approved sample
• Operating a glue machine within a cell
• Operate Laminator/Creasing machine

Requirements

• One year manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibility and strong working knowledge of general manufacturing practices and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Available 40 hours a week
• Available to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
