Responsibilities

• Wear PPE including smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask and safety glasses.
• Assemble products using hand tools, spot welders, microscopes per documented procedures.
• Follow policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy.
• Perform visual quality checks on products.
• Identify non-conforming parts per documented procedures.
• Meet manufacturing output requirements while maintaining quality.
• Work independently or in a team under minimal supervision.
• Utilize computers for data entry and email.

Job Description

Tube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules.

Essential Functions

• Ability to wear required PPE to fullfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses.
• Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
• Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.
• Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
• Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products.
• Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
• Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.
