Job summary

Sun Dolphin in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Assembly Team Member to support kayak and boat assembly on the production line. You will work with the team to meet daily build targets and help train new workers.

This role requires using hand and power tools, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to safety policies. If you take initiative, communicate issues promptly, and stay adaptable, you will contribute to smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to assemble components accurately, thoroughly and within production process standards.
• Assists with stocking line at start and end of shift.
• Ability to package kayaks and prepare for shipments.
• Ability to maintain and achieve production demand.
• Ability to train and communicate effectively with new team members.
• Takes initiative to ask for additional training or direction when unsure of tasks.
• Communicates any line issues immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work area throughout shift and verifies housekeeping after every shift.
• Ability to use power tools.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot environment.
• Follows all company production and safety policies.

Assembly team members are expected to assist in the assembly of all kayaks and boats as production demands. This position supports the training of new team members and ongoing training for themselves. This position also supports the entire team with any additional project requirements
