Job summary

• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Read rulers and use inspection equipment and handcarts to move materials, parts, assemblies and scrap within plant/warehouse.
• Sort and inspect materials while maintaining quality records and documentation practices.
• Develop skills in basic tasks within one skill area and follow SOPs or scientific methods.
• Work under general to limited supervision and complete routine tasks with prescribed steps.

• Must be one continuous year on the same job as a minimum.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read rulers, and must have good vision.
• Uses a variety of equipment such as inspection and light equipment, handcarts, to move materials, parts, assemblies and scrap products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. Sort and inspect materials.
• Must maintain quality records, have good writing skills, and maintain good documentation practices.
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works under general to limited supervision.

• Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
