Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Menomonee Falls, WI seeks a Radio Product Assembler to assemble and wire standard radio receivers and transmitters to meet customer specs.

You will interpret work orders, gather tools and parts, perform assembly and labeling, and verify functionality while following safety rules and completing required paperwork. Some overtime may be needed to meet ship dates.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of small hand and power tools, wire cutters, crimpers, and strippers.
• Ability to learn basic soldering skills.
• Ability to operate a computer and its job related software.
• Ability to read and comprehend product specifications, drawings, and job orders.

Responsibilities

• Obtain customer orders through ERP or Business Management System.
• Understand and interpret the work orders, bills of materials, and drawings.
• Obtain the necessary tools, parts, and components.
• Perform all assembly, wiring and labeling activities for standard radio products.
• Ensure the assembly is in working condition and meets departmental appearance standards and customer specifications.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer requested ship dates.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
• Use established systems to signal replenishment of materials.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
