Job summary

Chatsworth Products is seeking an experienced assembler for their Simi Valley, CA plant. The role involves repetitive assembly, using hand tools and fixtures to meet production standards while maintaining safety and quality expectations.

You will prepare products for shipping and perform tasks assigned by the Team Leader. The position requires at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and flexibility for extended hours/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Able to use measuring devices for product inspection.
• Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demands.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform production tasks under supervision.
• Report safety issues before operations.
• Report quality or mechanical problems to Team Leader or QA inspector; minor repairs may be done.
• Certify that each product completed QA processes with Quality Stamp.
• Work from production schedules as directed by Team Leader.

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Simi Valley Plant - SImi Vallely, CA 93063, Position Type: Full-Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.00 Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: First Shift, Performs repetitive assembly of products, parts, or materials by using hand tools, small powered tools, fixtures, adhesives, and fasteners to specific standards in a safe and efficient manner to produce products, parts and/or materials according to production standards and schedules. Responsible for meeting safety, quality and productivity expectations. Prepares product for shipping. Performs production tasks assigned by Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

• Under direct supervision, operates equipment and performs production tasks as assigned.
• Notifies Team Leader of any safety issues that need to be corrected prior to performing operations.
• Notifies Team Leader or Quality Assurance Inspector of any quality and/or mechanical problems that need to be resolved. Team Leader and/or Assembler/Packer II will make minor repairs and equipment adjustments, as needed.
• Certifies that each product has completed Quality Assurance processes via Quality Stamp.
• Works from production schedules and/or as directed by Team Leader.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year working in a Manufacturing/Industrial or related environment.
• Capable of using measuring devices as required for product inspection.
• Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates.
• Frequent standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching
• Lift up to 40 lbs.

Pay range: $20.00 - $21.00/hour DOE
