Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembler - Level 1 in Fremont, CA to assemble and inspect products, ensuring top quality while meeting production goals. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the use of hand-tools and inspection equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment.

You will kit substrates, operate an automated pick-and-place machine, and perform counting and visual inspections, with microscope support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform basic calculations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to work in a team environment and participate in problem-solving when process and quality issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform kitting of substrates and small parts onto gel packs using tweezers and vacuum wands.
• Load and unload substrates from an automated pick-and-place machine.
• Physically count substrates and confirm quantities are accurate.
• Visually inspect kitted substrates and confirm the correct parts have been kitted.
• Inspection may be performed under a microscope.
• Clean, stage, and organize substrates, gel packs, and waffle packs on staging shelves.
• Understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Fill out logs and operation sheets.
• Run other Thin Film processes and machines as requested by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Pay Transparency

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.05 – $27.60. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
