Featherlite Exiss Sooner Holdings Co., LLC in Cresco, IA seeks an Assembly Technician to perform a variety of duties in the Interiors Plant. You will measure, cut and install turf and rubber, and assemble components for trailers according to blueprints and job instructions.

The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, using hand and power tools, and maintaining quality while following safety rules. Full-time, on-site with a focus on teamwork and productivity.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand instructions, procedures, drawings and blueprints.
• Able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Operate basic hand tools safely and effectively.

Responsabilités

• Measure, cut and install turf and rubber.
• Install in trailer (pre created) components.
• Position and assemble parts per instructions and blueprints.
• Measure parts to specified tolerances.
• Inspect parts for cleanliness and defects; file nonconforming material reports if needed.
• Use air, power and hand tools to drill holes and attach components per instructions.
• Operate tools to attach plywood, cabinets, trim and lining to finished products.
• Maintain clean work area and report progress and issues.

Job Summary:

Perform a variety of assembly duties within the Interiors Plant

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut and install turf and rubber
• Install in trailer (pre created) components
• Positions and assembles parts according to special instructions, routings and blueprints.
• Measures parts to specified tolerances.
• Inspects all parts for cleanliness and flaws. If flaws exist, completes a nonconforming material report.
• Using air, power and hand tools to drill pre-established holes in aluminum and steel or attaching aluminum and steel components parts and sub-assemblies together per written or oral instructions
• Operates hand tools to fasten plywood to side walls.
• Operates hand tools to install pre-manufactured cabinets
• Utilizing riveter, chop saw and batter powers drill to attaching aluminum and wood trim in and outside of finished product
• Utilizing riveter, chop saw and batter powers drill to attaching walls, cabinet lining and flooring to finished product
• Keeps assembly department clean and free of foreign object damage
• Keeps production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments
• Maintain a satisfactory high level of performance while following appropriate procedures and observing all pertinent safety rules and requirements.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to read, write and understand instructions, procedures, drawings and blueprints
• Able to accurately read a tape measure
• Operate basic hand tools

Potential Exposures:

Regular exposure to manufacturing environment including noise, dust, and hot or cold temperatures.
