Job summary

UFP Industries in Delano Township, PA is seeking an Assembler II to fabricate components and assemble finished products per customer specs. You will secure parts and supplies, set up work areas, and follow safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating presses and hand tools, stacking and labeling, maintaining records, performing TPM, and participating in safety and CI programs. Must be at least 18, with 6 months of assembly experience or more, and a basic math ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products.
• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Complete work area setup.
• Fit parts together in accordance with prescribed methods and quality standards.
• Operate presses, machinery and hand tools as required.
• Stack completed products and, if required, cover, label and band components/finished product.
• Ensure work area is safe, clean and organized; equipment safe to operate.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection and report problems.
• Maintain clean and orderly work environment; complete TPM paperwork when required.
• Maintain production records; check materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Follow safety and quality procedures; participate in safety, CI and other programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
