Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking an Assembler II - Kitting to support our Operations team. You will read job orders and BOMs, arrange for delivery and assembly of supplies, and move and sort parts to ensure on-time production.

You will work at multiple workstations, maintain a clean and safe area, and follow safety protocols. The role requires collaboration with supervisors, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Assembler II - Kitting

Department: Operations

Supervisor: Production Supervisor

Shift: 2nd

What we are looking for:

Kitting is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedules
• Move totes to tables, checking to ensure all parts are complete, moving parts to shelves, and making copies of paperwork
• Confers with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes
• Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual's product line or work cell
• Perform other duties as assigned
