Dover Food Retail in Dover, DE is seeking an Assembler II for the 2nd shift in Operations. This role completes refrigeration cases per quality standards and work orders, assembling sub-assemblies such as interior backs, ceilings, shelves, panels, and wiring, while installing top lights and ensuring proper fit.

You will read and interpret job orders and BOMs, identify parts and tools, measure with rulers and gauges, fasten components with bolts and rivets, and operate electrical testing

What we are looking for:

Final Assembly completes refrigeration cases per quality standards and work order instructions. This includes partial sub-assemblies such as the installation of inside backs, ceilings, upper shelves, bottom decks, front panels, end panels, as well as wiring and installing top lights.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:
  • Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials
  • Identify parts used on their assigned product line, and their placement location on the product itself
  • Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line
  • Performs any assembly-type function, using hand or power tools

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently – Standing, Walking, Pushing/Pulling, Reaching, Gripping, Pinching, Neck Rotation/Extension and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs
  • Constantly – Foot Use, Visual Acuity (Near/Far) and Lift/Carry up to 10lbs
  • *Occasionally – Occurs up to 1/3 of the time
  • *Frequently – Occurs 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
  • *Constantly – Occurs 2/3 or more of the time

Pay Range: USD 16.50 - 18.50 Hourly

This position is eligible to earn commissions based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable commissions plan.
