Job summary

Alfa Laval is hiring for a 3rd shift assembler in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on accurate assembly, recording daily production, and maintaining quality in manufacturing processes. You will contribute to continuous improvements and follow ALPS standards, working with a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in manufacturing, ability to read blueprints, and basic computer skills. Forklift or crane certification is a plus, with physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs and

About the job

What you know

• High School degree or GED Certificate with relevant experience.
• Crane of forklift certifications, nice to have.
• 2-3 years of experience from the manufacturing environment like machines, equipment, jig, fixtures, and measuring instruments etc.
• Able to read drawings, blueprints, manufacturing orders etc.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Physical factors: Lifting (up to 60lbs), climbing, standing and equipment use.
