Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Assembler II for the Griffin, GA facility on the 3rd shift.

The role involves assembling parts according to work instructions, SOPs and blueprints, testing assemblies, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent experience, with the ability to train others in portions of the assembly process and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to train others in portions of the assembly process.
• Capable of following work orders and safety protocols to assemble quality products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts per work instructions, SOPs, blueprints, risk assessments and job routers.
• Test or assist in testing the operation of the completed product for quality and safety.
• Maintain housekeeping to minimize hazards and ensure a clean work area.
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
