Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an entry-level assembler to join our on-site production team. Under supervision, you will perform repetitive tasks on an assembly line to produce building material components and millwork products.

You will use hand and power tools, learn processes from experienced teammates, and receive on-the-job training to develop skills for future growth in a busy construction materials environment.

Qualifications

• Requirements: High school diploma or GED or related work experience. Entry level with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, performs repetitive tasks on an assembly or sub-assembly line to produce building material components or millwork products.
• Assembles building material components such as wall panels, roof and floor trusses and/or millwork products (doors, windows, cabinets, counters, vanities or closets) using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, performs one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly or sub-assembly line to produce building material components or millwork products.

• Assembles building material components such as wall panels, roof and floor trusses and/or millwork products such as doors, windows, cabinets, counters, vanities or closets. Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools.

Qualifications

Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or related work experience. This is an entry level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training.

Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble either building materials components or millwork products.
