Job Description
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

SkinHealth Systems builds its treatment devices — including the Hydrafacial platform — through the hands of skilled assembly teams. Every device that leaves the Long Beach facility goes to a real customer, which means getting the details right matters on every build. The Assembler I is the entry point into that team: you follow the procedures, keep your certifications current, and make sure the work you touch meets quality standards before it moves on.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Assemble complete products and sub-assemblies from components using hand and power tools — including wire strippers, crimpers, drills, and soldering stations — following manufacturing operating procedures (MOPs).
  • Assemble kits while maintaining quality and following manufacturing operating procedures.
  • Verify part numbers, materials, and completed assemblies for accuracy before they move to the next step.
  • Spot and report product rejects and non-conforming (defective) items to the Production Lead right away, so defective units don't move further down the line.
  • Keep your training certifications current for all relevant production lines and stations, including updated revisions.
  • Record production activities accurately and on time so every device can be traced and meets quality standards.
  • Keep a consistent work pace in line with standard work and takt time.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear your personal protective equipment (PPE) — including safety glasses, gloves, and ESD protection — throughout your shift.
  • Join team improvement activities and training programs that help the floor work better.
  • Work with your teammates to hit daily production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English, as well as verbal instructions, to complete assignments accurately and on time.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to stand, walk, and perform detailed hand work for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to asking questions when clarity is needed.
  • Preferred 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
  • On-site, production floor role requiring standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for precision assembly tasks involving small components and tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and finished assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Must wear PPE as required, including safety glasses, gloves, and ESD protection, throughout the workday.
  • Exposure to a light manufacturing environment with standard noise levels, machinery, cleaning agents, and assembly materials.

Base Pay: $20.00/hour
