Responsibilities

  • Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy.
  • Use pneumatic tools: grinders, air ratchet, impact gun, rivet gun.
  • Steam clean parts to remove dirt and chips.
  • Dip parts into rust remover and oil prior to packaging.
  • Perform final inspection and prepare parts for shipping.

As an Assembler, you are responsible for assembly and disassembly, testing and packaging of product.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy
  • Use of pneumatic tools, including grinders, air ratchet, impact gun and rivet gun
  • Steam clean pieces to ensure part is free from dirt and chips
  • Dip parts into rust remover
  • Oil parts prior to packaging
  • Final inspection of parts
  • Band work pieces and prepare for shipping
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Successful Candidate Will Be Able To Demonstrate These Skillsets
  • Blueprint reading experience
  • Caliper and other measuring tool reading
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training
  • Effective communications skills
  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Summary Pay Range

$18.80 - $24.40

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
