Job summary

Broan-NuTone is seeking a production assembler to join its team. You will fit, align, bolt, and package sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, and molded components into complete units.

Typical duties include verifying fit and function, testing electrical continuity, and packing units for shipment. The role requires reading process sheets and maintaining a clean, safe workspace per company policies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with assembly in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and air powered tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sheet metal parts, motors, electronics and molded parts into sub-assemblies and units.
• Visually inspect fit and function; address non-conformities as needed.
• Test electrical continuity and functionality of units.

Join us and help improve lives with better indoor air quality.Job Responsibilities:Fit, align, fasten, and package sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, molded parts into sub-assemblies and complete units. Visually inspect for fit and function. Non-conformities may require disassembly and rework.Test units for electrical continuity and functionality.Package units into corrugated containers with shipping filler and identify with all applicable labels.Work from assembly drawings, process sheets and/or standard work to perform assembly operations in a consistent, safe, and efficient manner.Use required hand and air powered tools, measuring instruments and gauges.Maintain a clean & safe working environment, in line with company policies and procedures.Participate in daily workplace organization & meetings, stretching, SQDC discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Requires ability to work from assembly drawings, process sheets and standard work and may include ability to learn how to operate and make routine adjustments to various machines.Requires the ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime.Physical Requirements:Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.At Broan NuTone, we take pride in offering exceptional benefit packages and a highly competitive pay structure to our employees.
