Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position is responsible for safely performing high‑level continuous work to quality standards. Assignments may change based on business demands.
You must have desired technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to interpret instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc. and follow them with precision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must wear OSHA approved safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toe safety shoes. Gloves are required to be worn when handling or moving parts. OSHA approved hearing protection (ANSI approved ear plugs) is required when on the shop floor. Painters must wear a respirator.
The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, move, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move boxes that weigh up to 50 pounds; the employee may be required to lift and/or move bar stock/baskets that vary in weight above these amounts and may require assistance or use of a material handling device, forklift, or hand truck. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, airborne particles, and vibration from hammering of parts and using hand tools. Noise levels are typically 80‑90 dBA; hearing protection is required while on the plant floor.
