Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I in Milwaukee to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications.

You will secure parts, operate basic hand tools, and ensure a safe, clean work area while maintaining records and complying with quality standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old, and up to 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup and prepares materials for assembly.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and may label, band, or package as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area and reports issues.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection and documentation as required.
• Keeps production records as required and follows safety and quality procedures.
