Job description

Job Title: US-Cleveland-Assembler I

What You'll Do
  1. Assemble small and large components to form sub-assemblies or completed assemblies using hand tools, air tools, rivet guns, operate the base robot and sub-assembly machines. Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructions.
In This Function You Will
  1. Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and Control Plans.
  2. Inventory and replenish parts at assembly stations. Use the Kanban system to ensure availability of parts.
  3. Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types, configuration, mounting locations, and clearances.
  4. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner, and uphold 5S standards.
  5. Collaborate with various teams, cross-train on all assembly lines, and assist in training new employees.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
  1. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE.
  2. Support Client Quality standards and systems in work execution.
  3. Ability to work overtime as needed.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  5. Lift 40 pounds repeatedly; team lift heavier items safely; stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Preferred Skills
  1. Working knowledge of assembly machinery and tools.
