Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group in the United States is seeking a Grinder Operator to ensure components are produced to engineering and quality standards. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot the grinding machine, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and communicate clearly within a fast-paced manufacturing team.

This role calls for attention to detail, the ability to read drawings, use gauging tools such as calipers and micrometers, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of machine operation experience (CNC preferred)
• Solid understanding of measurements, drawings and their applications
• Ability to lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use, read, and understand gauging equipment (calipers, micrometers)
• Grinding experience highly preferred.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Grinder Operator is responsible for ensuring components are created based on engineering and quality standards that satisfy our customer’s requirements. The Grinder Operator will ensure proper production levels are met, while maintaining their machine and be diligent about keeping a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
