Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. in Fall River, WI is seeking 1st Shift Assemblers to produce components by assembling parts for the SCAG family. The role reports to the Assembly Manager and involves part positioning, assembly, and quality verifications in an air-conditioned facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly is preferred; will train.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Aptitude to take orders and execute them efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Position parts and subassemblies by reading templates or measurements.
• Assemble components by checking connections for fit and fastening parts.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Maintain safe, clean workspace by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Manage supplies by checking stock levels and expediting orders.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and materials efficiently.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contribute to team effort and achieve related results.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Assembler produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies for our top of the line SCAG family of products.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
