Job summary

Impact ES Vancouver is seeking an Assembly technician in a production setting. The role requires maintaining IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications, reading Fusion/Factory Logix docs, completing a Component Identification quiz, depaneling per instructions, and masking tape work for conformal coat process.

The candidate will assist Shipping, ensure proper tagging and packaging, and perform transactions across multiple software systems while meeting customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified or able to obtain certifications.
• Ability to read, understand, and navigate Fusion/Factory Logix documentation.
• Pass the Component Identification quiz.
• Depanel per work instructions and tape small components for conformal coat process.
• Ability to navigate several software applications.

Responsibilities

Position Title: Assembler

Department: Production

Reports to: Area Lead

Wage Range: $18-$21

• Become IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications
• Meet production requirements: Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion/Factory Logix documentation, Pass the Component Identification quiz, Depanel per work instructions, and learn to tape off small components with masking tape for conformal coat process.

• Responsibility is to ship per work instructions and customer requirements

Principal Accountabilities

• Become IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, as required by job tasks
• Visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed work, including the ability to inspect work under a microscope when necessary
• Must be able to pass a vision exam with a minimum visual acuity of 20/25 in at least one eye, with or without corrective lenses
• Must be able to pass a color vision test to accurately distinguish color-coded components or materials
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks effectively
• Paint/taping experience is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20)

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified
• 2 years production environment experience
